A storm in her eyes,

thunder and lightning

shake her foundation.

She struggles to climb out,

but the thunder roars

and the lightning blinds.

The rain starts to pour,

drowning all in sight.

In a panic,

she slips and falls.

Under the salty flood she goes,

too tired to fight anymore.

Sinking further and further down,

beneath the dark depths of those raging waves,

that endlessly rampage just below the surface.

Spiraling out of control into the darkness,

she lifts up her head and lets loose a blood-curdling scream,

only for it to fall upon deaf ears.
